If you want to focus on team chess competition, whether you consider yourself a beginner, intermediate, or an expert player, this is your activity! Every meeting is a team competition with the other Middle schools in the district. Chess practice happens at your club or wherever you play chess.

Competitions will start at 3:15pm and be finished by 5:15pm.  The top five players for each school at the time of the meet will compete as the Level 1 Team and all other players will compete as the Level 2 Team.

This is a great way to improve your skills by playing against players outside of your club. However, club participation/membership is not required!

Students from all three middle school will attend the Competition dates at the locations listed below:

Wed - Jan 23rd  at  Highview,           Tues - Mar 12th at  Edgewood

Tues - Feb 5th  at  Chippewa            Thurs - Mar 28th  at Highview

Wed - Feb 13th  at Edgewood           Thurs - Apr 4 at Chippewa

Chess League Registration fee includes transportation from your home school to the competition school and back to school, competition organization, and supervision.
