Minecraft Game Designer: Custom Adventure Maps

Turn Minecraft from a game into a visual learning tool! Collaborate to create your own themed adventure maps. This class strongly emphasizes creativity, exploration, and cooperative learning experiences. While immersed in Minecraft's fun and creative world, students will learn about programming and game design concepts. We will be using the PC/Java edition of Minecraft. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day. Students should have basic reading skills. Presented by Tech Academy.

Summer Day Camp Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance: Youth who are residing within District boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits are eligible for a limited number of sessions per participant at reduced fees for qualifying Summer Day Camps at Turtle Lake. Financial support is provided by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, District Community Education Scholarship fund and other community donors.
