Learn to play American style Mah Jongg with instructor Tarri Levine. Tarri shares her passion for Mah Jongg with all participants. This is a great way to learn a popular game and then join in on our three weekly Mah Jongg times for free throughout the year. No need to purchase any equipment, you will borrow tiles and cards during this class. Mah Jongg is played with four players using Mah Jongg tiles and a Mah Jongg card. The goal of the game is to be the first, by picking-up and discarding tiles, to build a hand that matches a designated hand on the National Mah Jongg League card. Rules, strategies and etiquette will be taught and reinforced throughout the learning sessions. 

Classes will take place at the New Brighton Community Center.
