Robotic Builders

Youth Activities (K-12 grade) / Summer Camps & Activities / Summer Day Camps / Science, Engineering & Technology -
Summer 2025

Yes, we CAN learn about robotics! With the LEGO® WeDo robotics system, young children can build and program their robotic creations. Designed by the experts at MIT, this unique system teaches children about simple machines, engineering, programming, and so much more. Young imaginations soar! The LEGO® Education WeDo Robotics Builder class allows students to explore different concepts in robotics. Possible models may include dancing birds, a hungry alligator robot, goal kicker robot, a rescue plane, and a smart spinner robot. Students will be working in pairs. Presented by Tech Academy.

Summer Day Camp Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance: Youth who are residing within District boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits are eligible for a limited number of sessions per participant at reduced fees for qualifying Summer Day Camps at Turtle Lake.
