This camp will energize and excite students by combining the LEGO® building system's versatility and the Mindstorms EV3 (the most sophisticated microcomputer brick ever made by LEGO®). Working each day in teams, students will construct fun LEGO® models, experiment with programs, and compete in robotic challenges. Robot building, block programming, and teamwork will be part of each day's activities. The final challenges will be centered around hitting targets and a sumo battle. Students will be working in small teams of 2-3. Presented by Tech Academy.

Summer Day Camp Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance: Youth who are residing within District boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits are eligible for a limited number of sessions per participant at reduced fees for qualifying Summer Day Camps at Turtle Lake. Financial support is provided by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, District Community Education Scholarship fund and other community donors.
