Youth Activities (K-12 grade) / Elementary / Science, Technology, Engineering and Math -
Fall 2025

FIRST LEGO League Challenge is a competitive robotics program. This year's theme is called UNEARTHED. Teams of 8 students design, build, and program a LEGO robot to perform specific tasks on a competition table. Additionally, each team creates an innovative project which is related to the annual theme. Both the robot and innovative project are presented for judging at a tournament where they compete against other teams. This program is parent-led, with two parent coaches required per team. Students are expected to attend meetings twice a week during the 3 month season. Meeting times and tournament dates will be decided by the team at the beginning of the season.

Expectations:

  • LEGO League challenge is a completive team.  Participants are expected to be at every meeting/practice and competition.
  • Teams & coaches will decide their meeting/practice schedule and the tournament dates.
  • Teams will meet at least twice a week for 3 months depended on tournament date selected.

PLEASE NOTE: MEETING DETAILS WILL BE DECIDED BY TEAMS.
