Great Northern Railway

Enjoy a nostalgic day aboard the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad, traveling in beautifully restored rail cars from 1912– 1918. Relax as you ride the rails to Bean Creek, where a delicious lunch is served right on the train. Afterward, take in the peaceful rural Wisconsin scenery from your window. The trip includes a stops at the Northwest Wisconsin Regional Visitor Center for browsing and gifts, and a visit to the Burnett Dairy Cooperative retail store on our way home for ice cream, cheese curds and other classic dairy treats.
