3D Printing: Harry Potter-Inspired

Bring a bit of magic to life by creating your own pendant and wand with TinkerCAD while developing real 3D design skills. Students will learn how to model objects in three dimensions, experiment with shapes and structures, and apply their creativity to digital design projects. Along the way, they will take part in Harry Potter–inspired challenges and create themed video games while waiting for their 3D prints to finish. Each student will have two small printed designs sent home. Printing and material fees are included. Bring a USB drive on the last day. Summer Day Camp Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance:
Youth who are residing within District boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits are eligible for a limited number of sessions per participant at reduced fees for qualifying Summer Day Camps at Turtle Lake. Financial support is provided by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, District Community Education Scholarship fund and other community donors.
