Intro to Band Weaving

Learn the ancient textile art of band weaving, practiced by humans worldwide for thousands of years. Participants will begin by wrapping their looms, then learn the fundamentals of band weaving while creating several unique and beautiful wool bands for decoration and utility. No prior weaving experience is necessary, though Alla will support students at whatever level of weaving they bring to class. All materials, including naturally dyed wool, are provided.
