Ultimate Frisbee Coed

Ultimate Frisbee is a limited-contact team field sport played with a disc (frisbee). Combining the non-stop movement and athletic endurance of soccer with the aerial passing skills of football.  A game of Ultimate is played by two teams, points are scored by passing the disc to a teammate in the opposing end zone. Other basic rules: players must not take steps while holding the disc (maintain a pivot), and interceptions and incomplete passes are turnovers.  All skill levels are welcome.  Activity buses are available after practice for eligible students. Transportation is provided to and from all games- this bus will not bring students home, individual transportation home will need to be arranged by participants on competition evenings. Space is limited. All Students in grades 6-8 are encouraged to participate. No experience is necessary.

Practices 2:30-3:40pm; Games 3:00-5:00pm

Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance:
Youth who are residing within the Mounds View Public Schools boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits and/or free/reduced lunch may be eligible for reduced fees and partial scholarships to qualifying Enrichment & Activities programs. Financial support is provided by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, District Community Education Scholarship fund and other community donors. Qualifying Enrichment and Activities will have a Financial Support/Educational Benefits fee rate that is 50% of the full fee for the program.
