Broadway Bound! Afterschool Theater ClassArtsWaitlistSing! Dance! Act! Join us right after school as we learn the basics of acting, singing, and musical theater dance. Students will play theater games, build stage skills, and explore popular Broadway musicals while having a lot of fun! Crew ClubArtsJoin the Crew Club team to help Chippewa Middle School put on their production of Shrek JR. Crew Club meets on Thursdays for the first 6 weeks of rehearsal (January 8-Feb 12) to learn Technical Theater skills, all culminating in a project. After the weekly sessions conclude, students will be placed in show week jobs and groups. Attendance after school during tech week and for shows will depend on the role you are selected for. Henna WorkshopArtsDiscover the rich culture of henna. Henna is a dye prepared from leaves of a henna tree also known as Egyptian privet. Henna is temporary body art resulting from the staining of the skin from the dyes. After stains reach their peak color, they hold for a few days, then gradually wear off, typically within two to three weeks. Learn the basics of henna tattoos and practice them. The instructor will fill in or finish your henna design and take home your henna cone.
