    Our Conquer Rec Team is designed for youth, ages 6-13 of all experience levels. Our Rec Team will practice on real obstacles inspired by the tv show such as warped walls, salmon ladders, tilting ladders and so much more during their weekly practice. Rec Team members will learn the styles and techniques to develop their Ninja Skills with over 40 different obstacles!   • Mounds View Performance Team (MVPT) Youth Dance Clinic

    Do you love to dance? Are you excited about performing in front of a crowd? Do you want to show your school spirit? The Mounds View Performance Team (MVPT) Youth Dance Clinic is an exciting opportunity for kids grades 1-8 to spend the day with the high school dancers, learn choreographed routines and perform on the high school stadium field! Participants will be assigned an MVPT Big Sister to guide them throughout the day and will learn two dances: one with their age group and one with the entire team. To culminate the day, parents and fans are invited to return at 1 p.m. to watch the stadium field performance. Presented by Mounds View Performance Team. Check in is from 8:30 am to 9:00 am. Clinic will be held from 9:00 am to 1:00pm. Parents and spectators are invited to return to the MVHS stadium at 1 pm the day of the clinic to see the dancers perform the routines they learned as well as see performances by the MVPT. Clinic participants should wear shorts/leggings and dance, jazz, or tennis shoes. An MVPT t-shirt will be provided at check in. Bring a bag lunch and a water bottle. Please bring cash if interested in purchasing concessions at the field show.     This class introduces Shotokan karate ideas to young students who may be interested in continuing youth classes later. These classes will be aimed at understanding how we do karate, and how to practice at the dojo. We play some games, and work on focus as well and basic block, punch, and kicking techniques.
