Sunnyside Choir is a combined 4th and 5th grade performance ensemble focused on singing! We meet once a week to work on songs and other singing activities so we can perform for family, friends, and other guests near the end of the year. Concert dates for this session are TBD. Sing! Dance! Act! Join us right after school as we learn the basics of acting, singing, and musical theater dance. Students will play theater games, build stage skills, and explore popular Broadway musicals while having a lot of fun! Each session is filled with different material so new and returning students are welcome! Focus is put on developing imagination, social skills, and a positive self-image through the performing arts. Discover the rich culture of henna. Henna is a dye prepared from leaves of a henna tree also known as Egyptian privet. Henna is temporary body art resulting from the staining of the skin from the dyes. After stains reach their peak color, they hold for a few days, then gradually wear off, typically within two to three weeks. Learn the basics of henna tattoos and practice them.
