Slime-Tastic Art

It’s a slime takeover! In this camp, slime is the main event. We’ll explore different slime recipes as we create tons of gooey, sparkly, stretchy, messy goo. From an out-of-this-world glitter solar system slime, confetti cake slime and bubblegum scented slime, we’ll make a different slime during each day of camp. We’ll even throw in a little painting and sculpting on the side, too! Roll up your sleeves, and get ready for the Slime-Tastic time you’ve been waiting for! Presented by KidCreate. Come play fun music with your friends! Jazz Band will give students an opportunity to explore new types of music and new styles of playing in a fun, low-pressure environment. Currently open to any 6th grade band student at Chippewa, regardless of instrument. Concert will be on May 1, 2025. Put on a Show: The Little Mermaid

Journey “under the sea” with Ariel and her aquatic friends in The Little Mermaid! In our spring session of after-school theater classes, students will work on a mini-script adapted from Disney’s Broadway production and the animated motion picture. New and returning students are welcome. Focus is put on developing imagination, social skills and a positive self image through the performing arts. Parents are invited to a special performance on the last day of class! Presented by Character Kids. This camp will immerse your child into the realm of foam, slime and potions as we unravel the secrets of science. Prepare to concoct elixirs, create your own bouncy balls and whip up some homemade PopRocks that fizz in your mouth. Each experiment combines the perfect blend of creativity and scientific exploration. You’ll uncover a wealth of scientific facts and theories, transforming learning into a bubbling cauldron of pure excitement! Presented by KidCreate Studios. We will recreate famous works of art like Monet’s Water Lilies, Munch’s The Scream, Oldenburg’s Spoonbridge and Cherry and others, all in clay. Make room to display these masterpieces! Let’s explore and join our delightful "Blooms in Color" flower pot painting class! This creative workshop is designed for individuals of all skill levels, from beginners eager to explore their artistic side to seasoned painters looking for a new and vibrant project. Materials include a terracotta flower pot, acrylic paints, brushes, and aprons. Just bring your enthusiasm and be prepared to have a blooming good time!
