Epic Start-Up Craze: Lemonade Stand & Beyond!Visual & Performing ArtsCalling all future entrepreneurs! In this exciting camp, we’ll take your creativity and business ideas to the next level. You’ll start by learning how to sketch, then use those designs to create your own branded products. From notebooks and stamps to gift wrap and stationery, we’ll explore how to turn your ideas into fun products people love. Plus, we’ll team up to brand your very own lemonade stand—creating everything from the logo and signage to packaging and product labels. On the final day, we’ll host our grand Lemonade Stand Expo, where you’ll showcase your creations by running your own lemonade "store" in the classroom! We’ll also dive into basic marketing skills to help make your lemonade stand and other creative ideas a hit. It’s time to put your imagination and entrepreneurial spirit to work—join us for this fun-filled adventure in creativity and business! Please bring a nut-free snack, water bottle, and recess attire. Summer Day Camp Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance: Youth who are residing within District boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits are eligible for a limited number of sessions per participant at reduced fees for qualifying Summer Day Camps at Turtle Lake. Financial support is provided by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, District Community Education Scholarship fund and other community donors. Eat Your Art! Yummy Treats and ArtVisual & Performing ArtsJoin this unreal edible art making experience and get ready for a creative adventure where art meets deliciousness! In this outrageously fun camp, we’ll explore both edible and traditional art forms. Each day will be a new adventure using edible dough, candy, chocolate, sprinkles and more to craft sweet treats that are not only beautiful but also irresistibly yummy. Along the way we’ll have fun drawing, painting, and sculpting clay. From crafting fun food characters to designing beautiful art projects, there’s no limit to your creativity. And, of course, we’ll wrap up each day by making an amazing edible creation to take home. Get ready to unleash your creativity in the sweetest way possible!
