Drone Maker Engineering CampScience, Engineering & TechnologyThe Drone Maker Engineering Camp offers an exciting, hands-on experience that blends theory with practical application. Perfect for beginners, this camp invites students to work in teams of three to explore the world of drones, the principles of flight, and their real-world uses. Each day, students will design and engineer drones to complete thrilling missions—such as package delivery, fire fighting, and medical rescues. This camp fosters creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, giving campers the chance to experience the future of technology while having fun! Presented by Engineering for Kids. Join your team in this thrilling camp where you’ll face fun challenges and engineer cool gadgets to "survive" the great outdoors! From building a periscope to spying on your surroundings, harnessing the power of the sun to cook delicious marshmallows, creating a water filtration device, and designing a sturdy shelter, this adventure will transform you into a “survival expert”. Survivor: Engineer's IslandScience, Engineering & TechnologyIn this indoor camp, students will imagine themselves stranded on an abandoned island filled with perilous obstacles – dark caves, wild animals, cold temperatures, little food, and separation from the comforts of home. They will work collaboratively with their tribe members to compete against other tribes in specific engineering-related projects aimed at trying to survive the harsh island conditions and escape to their freedom. Make a flshlight, electromagnet, powerboat and more. The tribe with the most points at the end of the week will claim the honor of being the winners of Survivor Island! Wizard's Escape Room ChallengeScience, Engineering & TechnologyGet ready for an exciting adventure in the Wizard's Escape Room Challenge! This camp combines problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork as campers dive into thrilling escape room scenarios set in the magical realm. Each day begins with a new escape room experience, where teams must tackle engineering challenges and puzzles—such as designing enchanted locks, deciphering magical codes, or building contraptions to break free. In the second half of the day, campers will shift gears and explore the art of escape room design. Working in teams, they’ll design their own escape rooms, creating puzzles and challenges for others to solve. On the final day, teams will present their rooms and try to outsmart each other in this ultimate test of creativity and collaboration! Presented by Engineering for Kids. 3D Printing: Build Your Own RobotScience, Engineering & TechnologyStep into the world of 3D printing and bring your ideas to life! This class is perfect for beginners who love to draw, design, and see their creations take shape. Students will learn the basics of 3D modeling and printing using Tinkercad, designing custom parts for their very own robots. By the end of the week, they’ll have built two exciting DC-powered robots—a sketchbot and a drive bot. This hands-on course encourages creativity and problem-solving, and students will need to be comfortable using a laptop and mouse to design their robots. Presented by Engineering for Kids.
