Introductory camp for young boys looking to try volleyball! Athletes will learn the basic skills and strategy of volleyball. Players will learn passing, setting, serving and hitting while building confidence, coordination and teamwork. Focus will be on fundamentals with lots of fun games! Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance:Youth who are residing within the Mounds View Public Schools boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits and/or free/reduced lunch may be eligible for reduced fees and partial scholarships to qualifying Enrichment & Activities programs. Financial support is provided by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, District Community Education Scholarship fund and other community donors. This skill-based instructional camp will emphasize improving the individual skills of each athlete. Girls will play and compete with players of similar skills. We will cover ballhandling technique, speed, setting, passing, serving and blocking. A T-shirt will be provided. No camp July 3-10 . Developmental volleyball skill camp for athletes interested in trying out for boys volleyball in Spring of 2027. This camp will range from an intermediate to advanced level focusing on skill, technique, and game play development. Week 1 will focus on volleyball IQ, skill development and training for athletic growth specifically focused towards volleyball. Week 2 will focus on game play and team work while highlighting theimportance of communication, roles and rotations during a game.
