In this program, you’ll claim your own scene, build your character from the ground up and perform it live for an audience — no experience required. Work alongside a high school scene coach, make bold creative choices and join a cast that brings one story to life together. Presented by Mosaic Performing Arts.Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance:Youth who are residing within the Mounds View Public Schools boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits and/or free/reduced lunch may be eligible for reduced fees and partial scholarships to qualifying Enrichment & Activities programs. Financial support is provided by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, District Community Education Scholarship fund and other community donors. Qualifying Enrichment and Activities will have a Financial Support/Educational Benefits fee rate that is 50% of the full fee for the program. 6th Grade Musical at HighviewVisual & Performing ArtsAre you a 6th grader that wants to be onstage? Join the 6th grade musical! All those who register are guaranteed participation in the cast. Our production will be songs and scenes from the school musical, The Adamm's Family. Our performance will be on October 31 @ 12 pm, and then all 6th grade musical cast members are invited to stay for the last show of the 7th/8th grade musical, and then celebrate at an all Cast & Crew wrap party! Explore Your Singing VoiceAdult Activities & EnrichmentExplore your voice in a welcoming four-week group class esigned for adults of all experience levels. Build vocal technique, confidence and musical skills in a supportive environment where group singing takes center stage. Crew ClubArtsJoin for a weekly lesson that explore all of the skills needed to be part of the backstage and tech crew of the school musical, Adamm's Family! In addition to exploring new skills, crew club members will help design and build set pieces and props, and have the opportunity to apply for a Show Week Job. All Crew members are invited to the Wrap Party after the final show! More information at highviewmusical.weebly.com (please note: weekly lessons occur on Thursdays for 4 weeks, but work days for students that want to help build, paint, design will happen on other days of the week. Students can decide what they are interested in participating in and what works with their schedule.
