Mounds View Area Mountain Bike TeamSummer Camps & ActivitiesThis coed team is composed of participants interested in learning the skills and experiencing the thrills of mountain biking. No previous experience is needed! Our goal is to help students 6th-12th grade develop a lifelong passion for mountain biking. We are one of over 60 teams in the Minnesota Cycling Association (MCA) and our mission is to build strong minds, bodies and character through cycling. There will be a mandatory 2026 season information meeting May 5 at 7 p.m. at Mounds View High School for all riders joining the team. An additional MCA fee of approximately $100 must be paid directly to the league. More team and season information can be found at https://www.moundsviewbiketeam.org/ How to register: NEW RIDERS will be accepted based on capacity and must register and attend the New rider Meet (S26-NEWRIDERMEET). At the meeting, coaches will share information about the team requirements, season, fees, registration passcodes and capacities. Girls Mountain Bike CampSummer Camps & ActivitiesCome learn, grow your skills and have fun riding mountain bikes with other girls! Campers will learn the 10 essential elements of mountain biking, along with key skills needed to confidently and safely ride dirt trails through the woods. 3D Printing: Star Wars-ThemedScience, Engineering & TechnologyStudents will design 3D objects using TinkerCAD and prepare them for printing with the slicing program Cura. Projects include creating a droid and other Star Wars–inspired models while learning the essentials of 3D design and digital fabrication. Students will also take part in themed challenges and create space-inspired video games while waiting for their models to print.
