They can use this time to pursue individual projects that they are interested in completing. Collectible Card, RPG, & Strategy Games ClubStrategy GamesTake strategy gaming to the next level! Play challenging and popular games like Catan, Pandemic, 7 Wonders, Splendor, Evolution and Godsforge. Playing games develops analysis, problem-solving, communication, negotiation skills and…it’s also great fun! Presented by CSGA Enrichment. Players will learn at least 3 new games and how they end in order to complete full games Players can make decisions on game play and explain the rules with or without adults present Players are able to resolve a disagreement with & without adults present Players can set-up and take down games in order to have them ready for future players. Jr. ViewettesMiddle School SportsAre you interested in dancing in the Mounds View School District? Then join the Jr. Viewettes Dance Team to learn the basics of Dance Team and what it is all about! Learn to correctly kick, turn, jump and leap in the style of Dance Team that will help build confidence, promote teamwork and increase flexibility. You will be instructed by two of the High School coaches along with current Viewettes. Participants will receive at t-shirt. Make & Take Calming Creations (Middle School)Middle SchoolA fun and creative way to unwind after a busy school day! Students will enjoy mindful art and sensory play as they create calming take-home crafts designed to soothe and inspire. Activities include falling snow sensory bottles, snowflake slime, and gingerbread-scented playdough—each paired with simple relaxation techniques to help kids feel centered and calm. Coaches will use a variety of drills and games to build skills in a fun and positive environment. All boys and girls in grades 6 – 8 are encouraged to participate regardless of skill ability. Activity buses are available to eligible students after practices. Monday/Wednesday is non-competitive; practice and fun in-house games only. Practices 2:30-3:40pm All equipment is provided; knee pads are not required for participation. Coaches will use a variety of drills and games to build skills in a fun and positive environment. All boys and girls in grades 6 – 8 are encouraged to participate regardless of skill ability. Activity buses are available after practice for eligible students. Transportation will be provided to and from all competitions - this bus will not bring students home, individual transportation home will need to be arranged by participants on competition evenings. Practices 2:30-3:40pm; Games 3:00-5:00pm All equipment is provided; knee pads are not required for participation.
