The game of flag football is a fast-paced, non-contact game played between teams of seven players. Each player on the offense and defense wears a set of flags. "Tackles" are made by pulling the flag out of the belt. All physical contact is strictly monitored for the safety of the players. Activities will not meet on non-school days. Acitvity buses are avaialble after practice for eligible students. Game day busing will bring all participants to host school departing at 2:35pm and return remaining students to their home school ONLY by 5:30pm. Practices are Tuesday & Thursday from 2:30-3:40pm; Games are between 3:00-5:00pm on 5/6 at Chippewa Middle School and 5/22 at Edgewood Middle School (tentative game schedule) Bring a water bottle and running shoes. Pickleball Coed (Non-competitive)Middle School SportsPickleball is the fastest growing sport in America right now! Learn the rules and basic skills of pickleball, no experience necessary! All students grades 6-8 are encouraged to play. Practice is Monday & Wednesday from 2:30-3:40pm; non-competitive (this class does not compete against the two other district middle schools). Activities will not meet on non-school days. Activity buses are available after practice for eligible students at 3:45pm. Track - CoedMiddle School SportsTrack and field is a coed sport which combines various athletic contests based on the skills of running, jumping, and throwing. All students grade 6 - 8 are encouraged to participate. No experience is needed. Activities will not meet on non-school days. Activity buses are available after practice for eligible students at 3:45pm. Meet day busing will bring all students to host school and return remaining students to their home school ONLY (times will be determined once meets are scheduled). Practice is 2:30-3:40pm, Monday-Thursday; meet times TBD Bring running shoes and water bottle.
