    Northeast Regional Open Chess Final Tournament

    Elementary and secondary chess players are invited to participate in the ""NE Regional Open Chess Final". Whether you participated in a chess club or not in the fall, winter, or spring, you are invited to compete in this short, fun tournament where you can play students from other schools and districts. Time controls will be used when necessary to keep the tournament within time constraints. The format and recognition will be based on the number of registered participants in each grade level and school. Anticipated sections will be Secondary 7th-12th, Invitational Elementary (Top Club Players), Open Elementary K-1st & 2nd-6th. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins will be accepted. Tournament etiquette and procedures will be explained at the event for players new to tournament play. Players are not eliminated. Everyone plays in each round unless there is a bye because of an odd number of participants. Typically there are 4-5 rounds. Check-in will be 30 minutes before the posted start time. A great way to end the Chess season. Concessions Available: Breakfast, Lunch & Snack Items Supervision will be provided. Parents/guardians are allow to stay, but are not allowed in the playing area and will be asked to wait in the lobby area.

  • Youth Wrestling

    The youth wrestling program is designed to be an introductory wrestling program for elementary & Middle School students. The program will focus on teaching kids the basic fundamental skills, techniques and rules of wrestling through fun games and activities. Elementary participants will also be able to compete in an end-of-the-season in-house tournament. Presented by Chris Litecky
  • Robotics Problem Solvers

    Learn basic robotics skills such as; programming, construction, testing and design while you create robots that solve specific challenge problems generated during the program. You will be using scratch coding and Lego Spike Prime as your tools while problem solving with robotics. Presented by CSGA Enrichment.   • Non-School Day Multi-Sport One-Day Camp

    Looking for a fun non-school day filled with fun sports activities? This multi-sport camp includes fun skills training and games in soccer, basketball and flag football. Athletes will spend roughly two hours on each sport, performing instructor-led fun skill-based activities and games. Presented by Dash Sports.   • Parent/Guardian-led STEM Lego League Explore Program

    Teams of students will explore, build and program a motorized LEGO model and create a presentation while also learning critical thinking and teamwork skills. Teams will present what they have learned to judges at a celebratory exhibition. No previously experience is necessary for participants or parents/guardians. This season is called SUBMERGED, and focuses on our oceans. Over the 12-week season, your child will learn about ocean habitats, the animals that live there, and how scientists study them. Register your student now so they can join the fun! **Deadline to register is December 13, 2024** Teams are parent/guardian-led, so parents/guardians should expect to help teach at every meeting by following the structured curriculum. Co-coaches: Two parents will be designated as “co-coaches,” who will coordinate group emails and help keep the team on track. Meetings: Teams will have an hour meeting time at their desired school location between 5-8 p.m. LEGO League Explore is a great way to reinforce skills already used in the classroom while also strengthening parent/ guardian-child bonds. The season will culminate in an exhibit for all teams on May 3, 2025 Please note participants do not need to register at their home school.
