Make the stars your old friends as we watch the great celestial show in the skies! We’ll have giant telescopes aimed at Jupiter, Saturn, star clusters, galaxies and more. Get to know constellations like the Big Bear, Cygnus the Swan, Pegasus the Winged Horse and others. Mike Lynch is a retired WCCO meteorologist and has been hosting star watch parties and teaching astronomy classes since 1972. Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses, all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. This two-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation and they are expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp.
