Make the stars your old friends as we watch the great celestial show in the skies! We’ll have giant telescopes aimed at Jupiter, Saturn, star clusters, galaxies and more. Get to know constellations like the Big Bear, Cygnus the Swan, Pegasus the Winged Horse and others. Mike Lynch is a retired WCCO meteorologist and has been hosting star watch parties and teaching astronomy classes since 1972. How to register: Select the one person in your group to be the registration holder. Please note you do not need to register each person individually, your group/family can be all registered under one name. Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses, all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. This two-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation and they are expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. Discover what makes RC cars work, then put your driving skills to the test on a real track. Participants will explore different types of RC cars and can use provided vehicles or bring their own with prior approval. Presented by Party Crashers RC Racing. Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance:Youth who are residing within the Mounds View Public Schools boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits and/or free/reduced lunch may be eligible for reduced fees and partial scholarships to qualifying Enrichment & Activities programs. Financial support is provided by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, District Community Education Scholarship fund and other community donors. Qualifying Enrichment and Activities will have a Financial Support/Educational Benefits fee rate that is 50% of the full fee for the program.
