My Little Horse CampFamily Enrichment & ActivitiesCampers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses, all with a focus on safety! Online Competition Chess ClubStrategy gamesThis program is for players of all grades and ages interested in participating and competing in tournament chess, or just want their chess ability to improve to the next tactical level. Players will meet Saturday morning online for chess instruction and fun competitive play. Face to face, sanctioned tournament play is strongly encouraged as well. Expert coaching will be provided for participants at many tournaments. Perfect for students who want extra challenges beyond their school clubs. Orchestra Instrument RentalSummer OrchestraThis course is for students who selected the option to rent an instrument from the school. enrolling in this course pays the instrument rental fee and ensures students have an instrument for their summer band course. District instrument rental is available based on student need as identified by their Orchestra Director . Students who play larger instruments are encouraged to rent 2 instruments from school (one stays at home, one stays at school. Other school instruments may be available for rental for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch. The rental fee covers the summer and a full year of school. Parent/Guardian-led STEM Lego League Explore ProgramLego League ExploreTeams of students will explore, build and program a motorized LEGO model and create a presentation while also learning critical thinking and teamwork skills. Teams will present what they have learned to judges at a celebratory exhibition. No previously experience is necessary for participants or parents/guardians. This season is called UNEARTHED. Over the 11-week season, your child will learn about the field of Archeology, and how scientists look at the past to help shape our future. Register your student now so they can join the fun! **Deadline to register is December 12, 2025** Teams are parent/guardian-led, so parents/guardians should expect to help teach at every meeting by following the structured curriculum. Co-coaches: Two parents will be designated as “co-coaches,” who will coordinate group emails and help keep the team on track. Meetings: Teams will have an hour meeting time at their desired school location between 5-8 p.m. LEGO League Explore is a great way to reinforce skills already used in the classroom while also strengthening parent/ guardian-child bonds. The season will culminate in an exhibit for all teams in April 25, 2026 Please note participants do not need to register at their home school.
