In your Explorers Class, you will spend time with your child exploring and moving in class together. Both you and your child will be able to participate in arts and crafts, science and sensory items, playtime, and music time together. Extreme Robotics: BattlebotsScience, Engineering & TechnologyThis camp will energize and excite students by combining the LEGO® building system's versatility and the Mindstorms EV3 (the most sophisticated microcomputer brick ever made by LEGO®). Working each day in teams, students will construct fun LEGO® models, experiment with programs, and compete in robotic challenges. Robot building, block programming, and teamwork will be part of each day's activities. The final challenges will be centered around hitting targets and a sumo battle. First Friends2025-26 School Year ClassesFirst Friends For 30 - 35 month old children by September 1, 2025 and Parent. The First Friends class combines ECFE and preschool together. To start, you will attend one day a week with your child (Thursday). Beginning the week of February 2, your child will attend an additional day by themselves (Tuesday). The game of flag football is a fast-paced, non-contact game played between teams of seven players. Each player on the offense and defense wears a set of flags. "Tackles" are made by pulling the flag out of the belt. All physical contact is strictly monitored for the safety of the players. Activities will not meet on non-school days. Acitvity buses are avaialble after practice for eligible students. Game day busing will bring all participants to host school departing at 2:35pm and return remaining students to their home school ONLY by 5:30pm. Practices are Tuesday & Thursday from 2:30-3:40pm; Games are between 3:00-5:00pm on 5/6 at Chippewa Middle School and 5/22 at Edgewood Middle School (tentative game schedule) Bring a water bottle and running shoes.
