This engaging class combines LEGO® Education and LEGO® Technic™ materials to study design, technology, science, and mathematics. Students working in pairs will build learning models, then be challenged to customize and improve their projects using the principles they’ve discovered. Flag Football - CoedMiddle School SportsIntramural Flag football is coed and all students in grades 6-8 are encouraged to participate. The game of flag football is a fast-paced, non-contact game played between teams of seven players. Each player on the offense and defense wears a set of flags. "Tackles" are made by pulling the flag out of the belt. All physical contact is strictly monitored for the safety of the players. Activities will not meet on non-school days. Acitvity buses are avaialble after practice for eligible students. Game day busing will bring all participants to host school departing at 2:35pm and return remaining students to their home school ONLY by 5:30pm. Practices are Tuesday & Thursday from 2:30-3:40pm; Games are between 3:00-5:00pm on 5/5 at Chippewa Middle School and 5/21 at Edgewood Middle School (tentative game schedule) Bring a water bottle and running shoes.
