  • Clay Target Club - Mounds View

    Welcome new and returning athletes to the MV Clay Target Club registration site. We are looking forward to an exciting spring session. This co-ed program is offered under the administration of the MN High School Clay Target League. You must be a registered 9-12 grade student at MVHS. Please follow these steps to complete your registration for MV Clay Target Club: 1. New team members interested in participating must notify the team coach for access prior to registering. Please email mvclaytargetclub@gmail.com to obtain the access code/information for registration on the League Site. Returning students will be sent an email for registration from the league. (please email the team coach, if any problems) 2. Once the coach has given you access, registration instructions will be provided by email. Everyone who was previously on the email list will automatically receive registration instructions by February 20, 2026. If you have any problems, please send a note to mvclaytargetclub@gmail.com . 3. After you receive the registration instructions, register on the Mounds View Community Education (MVCE) website by noon March 23, 2026. The $190.00 registration/team/round fees will be collected by MVCE. The fees include the $10 MVCE fee + $180 team fee, which includes two rounds/week (8 weeks x $18/week), booster fee. 4. Use the registration instructions provided by email to also register on the MN Clay Target League website, The league registration fee is $40 and will be collected by MN Clay Target League when you register by noon on March 23, 2026. *** You must register on both the MVCE website and on the MN Clay Target League website at “claytargetgo.com by noon on March 23, 2026 for your registration to be complete. *** If you have any questions about the registration process or did not receive registration instructions, please email Mark Kingsriter at mvclaytargetclub@gmail.com Please note: The MV Clay Target Club uses the MN Hunter Safety certificate. We are so thankful for our relationship with Federal. We are planning on $90/case, but that is subject to change and there will be a limit on the cases – TBD. Team Shirts – New athletes will be required to purchase a team shirt. The fee for the Team Shirt is $50.00. If you need a replacement or have outgrown your shirt, let me know. Spring Scoring – FYI – The Trap League has gone back to the original scoring procedures. The scores for the weekly shoot have to be input by Saturday at 9pm for that week, or it does not get entered. Please plan on shooting on our scheduled time for Sundays. If you have a job, please plan accordingly.
  • Irondale High School Girls Flag Football

    Come join us for the inaugural season of Irondale High School Flag Football. This program is made possible through generous support from the MN Vikings and the NFL. The team is open to Irondale High School, Edgewood and Highview Middle Schools student athletes grades 7-12. Practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7pm at Irondale, and games on Sunday afternoons. There will be 8 regular season games on Sundays (4 double headers), playoff games and a state tournament for teams that advance through the playoffs. Specific game, playoff and state tournament details and location information will be shared with players.

    Get ready for the football season with Coach Moberg and staff. This team camp will be a continuation of our June camp, in which we will work on individual technique and continue to build upon the scheme of our offense and defense. Awesome opportunity to develop as individuals and build team camaraderie! Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance: Youth who are residing within the Mounds View Public Schools boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits and/or free/reduced lunch may be eligible for reduced fees and partial scholarships to qualifying Enrichment & Activities programs. Financial support is provided by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, District Community Education Scholarship fund and other community donors. Qualifying Enrichment and Activities will have a Financial Support/Educational Benefits fee rate that is 50% of the full fee for the program.     This camp will officially kickoff the 2026 Mustang Football journey. We will practice individual technique and drill work specific to each participant's position. Over this four day camp, we will be installing the foundation of our offensive and defensive schemes.     MANDATORY Parent/Student OrientationTBD (approximately 30 minutes)Orientation will be virtual (an invite will be sent to the student)Both a parent or guardian and the student must attend the orientation session for each enrolled course. Priority for both courses will be as follows. First priority: next year's seniors, then juniors, then sophomores who will attend a Mounds View school Fall 2025. This is an online course combining office hours and weekly independent coursework. Attendance at the mandatory parent/student orientation is a requirement for the course. This Health course builds and reinforces individual awareness of many health-related issues. Topics of study include mental health and communication, prevention of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, CPR, human sexuality, and aging and loss. American Red Cross Hands-Only CPR instruction will be provided. This option does not have a CPR certification card. Additional information will be available at the orientation. Available to students entering grades 10-12. This course offers .5 credit of compacted curriculum. After completion of the course, students will receive a letter grade which will become part of the student’s transcript. All students will automatically be placed on a waitlist. Enrollment is limited. You will receive official confirmation of admittance to the course by March 9th. Payment for the course will be charged at the time of course confirmation. First priority: next year's seniors, then juniors, then sophomores, then freshman who will attend a Mounds View school Fall 2026.This is an online course combining virtual office hours and weekly independent coursework. Attendance at the mandatory parent/student orientation is a requirement for the course. This course emphasizes lifetime physical fitness, wellness, sport skills and sport concepts. The physical fitness component includes muscular strength and conditioning, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and fitness planning. The wellness component examines fitness and nutrition concepts that will help students make healthy decisions. Sport skills and concepts include lifetime skills, rules of play, etiquette and sportsmanship. The goal of this class is to explore activities that young people could adopt as lifelong activities. Available to students entering grades 9-12. This course offers .5 credit of compacted curriculum. After completion of the course, students will receive a letter grade which will become part of the student’s transcript. All students will be placed automatically on the waitlist.
