Survivor: Engineer's IslandScience, Engineering & TechnologyIn this indoor camp, students will imagine themselves stranded on an abandoned island filled with perilous obstacles – dark caves, wild animals, cold temperatures, little food, and separation from the comforts of home. They will work collaboratively with their tribe members to compete against other tribes in specific engineering-related projects aimed at trying to survive the harsh island conditions and escape to their freedom. Make a flshlight, electromagnet, powerboat and more. The tribe with the most points at the end of the week will claim the honor of being the winners of Survivor Island! Starting SoonTrack - CoedMiddle School SportsTrack and field is a coed sport which combines various athletic contests based on the skills of running, jumping, and throwing. All students grade 6 - 8 are encouraged to participate. No experience is needed. Activities will not meet on non-school days. Activity buses are available after practice for eligible students at 3:45pm. Meet day busing will bring all students to host school and return remaining students to their home school ONLY (times will be determined once meets are scheduled).
